How matches are won
In IRW every move matters. During each encounter, both players' 12-move selections are stacked side-by-side. We compare them one by one: the point difference for each move is awarded to the leader. This process continues through all 12 moves unless a fighter hits the disqualification or countout threshold—critical numbers that shift with every cycle to keep the territory unpredictable.
STAR RATING
The quality of your performance is reflected in the official match star rating. A narrow victory—where the final point spread is between 1 and 3—earns a prestigious 5-star classic for its competitive drama. Conversely, a dominant showing with a 30-point gap might settle at a 2-star rating. Every point matters when you're trying to impress the fans and climb the rankings.
SQUASH MATCHES
Beware of the squash match. If a player falls behind by 14 points after just the first two moves are compared, the referee calls for the bell immediately. It’s a total blowout that ends the night early, proving that a slow start in the IRW territory can be a career-ender.
DQ'S, COUNT-OUTS, BLOOD
Disqualifications, count-outs, and blood are all possible outcomes in IRW if a match reaches the required point threshold. These thresholds change every cycle, adding drama and unpredictability to every match.
